Great room, great buffet, awesome Birthday party!!

I've been going here since they opened over 20 years ago. A creature of habit, I always get chile Verde tostada. However this day I got two taco lunch one chicken one shredded beef and this may be my new order. I love the salsa for the chips which is more a chile sauce. This is a great place for banquets. We have had Christmas lunches in the past here. They have two rooms. The prices are reasonable and the food has always been good.

Food was decent though my "fresh" guacamole was a bit brown and the meat slightly overcooked. Not very child friendly and the beers start at 6 bucks.

The service was terrific and the food was served hot and in large quantities. It was quite tasty. Not the best ever but I will be back. The tables and restaurant were clean. The prices are very good for the amount of food served and great service. Highly recommend

Was in the area today for a memorial service. A group of high school members came in for lunch. Food was excellent and considering the size of our group, we were all served pretty fast. The staff was able to take care of us all and divide the tab up between us. A most enjoyable lunch and of course the company was great even though not everyone knew one another. Thanks Villa Tepeyac for facilitating us.

Great place to have a party and food was great and employees politely

After a night of drinking my friends and I came to this diner STARVING! Our waitress took our order quickly and answered any questions that we had. Our food came out fast and was delicious! This was the perfect place to come to get something to eat after a night out. Prices are somewhat average, would def. come here again.

Food was great and the staff was better. The owner even personally took our whole booth apart when my phone went missing. This is definitely a restaurant that makes you feel like family.

The food was good ! Easily accessible off the freeway. Dated on the inside. Wait staff had to be prompted a bit for service but overall decent...

Good Food and Drinks.

It had been a long time since we have eaten here. We moved to Long Beach from Covina about 21/2 years ago. The food still has the home made taste. The service is still great, Ramiro was our server and he was attentive and accurate, and is one of the best servers if not the best. We will make more of an effort to drive and have a great meal here more often.

This Mexican restaurant has a unique name to remember. It is located right off the 10 freeway, but it is not easy to access for the first time driver. The building is very big and traditional. It is spacious inside, so you don't have to wait. The food was like home made; the atmosphere was cozy. I don't want to say that it is the best, authentic Mexican food, but it is certainly above the average. The price was a little bit above the average too.If you just want to go to a warm and comfortable Mexican restaurant close by, then this is the place to go!

Portion sizes are good for the price. But the food dosnt have alot of flavor. Kind of bland.... not bad. Just not great

This was my first visit to Villa Tepeyac Mexican restaurant. I ordered a soft shell flour chicken Taco and a shredded beef Enchilada. A side of fresh tortilla chips and salsa were immediately brought to my table. Meal came with a choice of side salad or soup, and rice and beans. I chose the salad with blue cheese dressing. It was a very simple salad but had good dressing. Both my shredded chicken Taco and the shredded beef Enchilada were very tasty, hot and with the right amount of sauce. My service was fast, thorough but not pushy. All in all, a good experience, good food, good service and didn't break the bank.

Okay food, friendly staff, moderate prices. The waitress did forget to bring extra stuff that we asked her to bring so we had to ask the busboy to get them for us but overall it's pretty good first experience eating at this restaurant

Great place with great tasting food. Very authentic flavors and with great service. They also have two banquet rooms one with a 75 person capacity and the other with a 200 person capacity for that special occasion

We have been going to Villa Tepeyac for many years, since they opened at this location. The food is excellent, the staff provide friendly service and we always enjoy our meals plus drinks whenever we go there. Ask for Ramiro when you go, he's an excellent server. ☺

A nice lunch with a friend that just bought a brand new Escalade at a local dealership. Good Mexican food. I love their salsa
